I am an accomplished PhD scientist, specializing in the development of new medications to treat diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
I am also proud to call myself a watermedia artist. My work has been consistently accepted at juried art shows, in which I have received numerous awards. I have been honored as a featured artist in multiple local galleries, and my paintings reside in numerous private collections.
I enjoy producing creative paintings with vibrant color and attractive balance. I find the characteristic flow of the pigment and water, which can never be completely predicted or controlled, mesmerizing. My favorite subjects include landscapes, architecture, figures, and animals, and more recently portraits and abstraction. I love painting special memories that evoke a sense of joy.
