As an artist and architect, I am inspired by light, color, rhythm, and texture. I mostly work from observation, with my interests ranging from landscapes to still life to portraits. I like to embrace the spontaneity and freshness of the process, and to explore textures and brushstrokes, playing with various ways to create different moods and atmosphere. I often participate in Plein Air events, enjoying the energy of excitement, challenge, and the sense of community among other artists.
