I started painting in watercolor when I retired. I was looking for an avocation to provide focus for my new found time. Watercolor is a challenging medium and I soon found that it was just what I was seeking. It awakened a passion in me. Once I start painting, I lose all sense of time. My goals are to continue to expand my skills, try new techniques and express the shapes, patterns and beauty of the world around us.
