Recently I asked myself, “Why do I paint?”  There are many reasons, but basically it’s about being happy.  When asked the secret of a happy life, Sandra Day O’Connor replied, “Work worth doing.“  I agree. Making art is not always fun; often it’s work.  But when I paint something that I like, I’m happy. So much creative work is being done every day, throughout the world, in all sorts of ways. I am happy to join the crowd, and share my experience and my work.
