Jeane Stetson

As a kid, no box of crayons was safe near me – I wanted to color everything within reach and I still feel the same way. Various classes at Rhode Island School of Design, the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design and The Art League in Alexandria helped me to explore the world of art. I’ve had wonderful, amazing teachers over the years that have helped me reach higher than I ever would have on my own. I enjoy working in oils, colored pencil, pen and ink and am currently focusing on watercolors. Watercolors can be unpredictable at best and it is that unexpected leap of faith when you put brush to paper that makes watercolor painting so exciting.
