With over 30 years of experience in gemology and appraisal work, complemented by a lifelong dedication to painting, I am now primarily recognized as a representational watercolor artist. My focus has been on architectural elements shaped by my European travels. Recently my attention has shifted to the incredible details of historical jewelry based on my personal work experience in the appraisal industry.
I received my BA in Fine Arts from Longwood University, Virginia. Later, I completed my graduate gemologist degree at GIA in New York City resulting in an appraising career in Tysons, VA. Through this work, I discovered an enthusiasm for the detailed science behind documenting gemstones and jewelry.
