Peter begins each of his online watercolor classes with a 45-minute demonstration. In order to allow his overhead camera to view his source photo, his palette and his painting, he limits the painting size to 9-inch by 12-inch. The limited time dictates a quick study and limits the possibility of overworking the painting. Since the start of the pandemic, Peter has been teaching three classes a week and, in so doing, has painted over 100 of these quick studies per year!
