Linda Wallace-Blau

Linda Wallace-Blau is a Fairfax, Virginia-based watercolor artist.
Her love of art goes back at least to first grade, when her charcoal drawing of Charles Darwin won second prize for her age group in her hometown’s sidewalk art show. She studied art education, and then taught art at both the high school and elementary levels in Northern Virginia before retiring to develop her painting skills.
Although she works primarily in watercolors, Linda has also tried her hand at jewelry design, mixed media collage, acrylics, and oils.
Her favorite subjects are nature and flowers. She has painted a wide range of subjects, including portraiture, animals, landscapes, and more.
Linda is a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society, the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, and Falls Church Arts. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Washington metropolitan area and elsewhere in Virginia. Many of her paintings have been displayed as streetside banners in Old Town Manassas.
