My analytical nature and deep curiosity have shaped both my profession as a scientist and my passion for watercolor. While balancing family life and developing new diabetes medications, I discovered the joy of watercolor: a medium where thoughtful planning and unexpected beauty coexist.
My focus today is less on striving for the “perfect” painting and more on enjoying the creative journey. Years in scientific research taught me the value of experimentation, and I bring that same mindset into the studio. I love exploring new techniques, embracing vivid color and unexpected texture, and watching pigment and water reveal possibilities.
